One of the rare book guides to my knowledge that combines mountain
biking and hiking or mountaineering. Twelve tours are
from Osttirol (East Tyrol) and others form Karnten, both
in Austria.
The first part of each tour is cycling - by bike
until you can pedal. This is usually up to a mountain
hut below the top of the mountain, which you then climb
by foot. You return the way and by means you came. This is
quite unique way and can suit probably mostly to hikers
that want to ease the ascent and descent.
The tours have got enough information. The trails are
drawn into quite detailed topo maps. It is in German.
