2. Information
The trail from Dollach (near Grossglockner, Austria)
to lake Zirmsee is not even that difficult, except
for the height difference, since there is quite nice
gravel macadam road winding to the lake. The road is a
left over from the golden age. And today you can visit
gold mines or other golden locations, which are inviting tourists. You
can also go along the so called "Golden Trail".

The trail with detailed road book was originally
published by the German Bike magazine (Nov/99 issue).
The basic trail info: 42.94 km - 1691 m - 4h 30min.
First ten kilometers are mostly singletracks along the
valley and then there is a long climb up to the lake.
