This is a cycling map of tourist resorts located in
the Julian Alps (Julijske Alpe): Kranjska Gora, Bled, Bohinj, Tolmin
and Bovec. The purpose of the map is two fold - a
suggestion of a loop cycling route around the Julian
Alps plus additional 11 one-day- trips.
The five day loop route is 230 km long with 200 -
2600 m of ascent, depending on variants. It takes you
along side roads, mainly surfaced and passes numerous tourist
attractions that you can visit. It is enough if you use
a cross bike. But on some additional trips a mountain
bike is recommended.
The map is in fact just a relief with the routes
drawn into. A lot of tourist attractions and other information
are indicated as well. All five sections of the route
are described briefly and there is a complete set of
vertical profiles.
The map is bilingual - in Slovenian and Italian.
In addition the basic information, e.g. the legend, is in English as well.
